Student Research

Want to know what an ecological entomologist does? Help us find ants and participate in scientific research! We want to help you learn about ecology and ants while you help us figure out how disturbed habitats like mowed lawns, empty parking lots, or planted gardens affect what types of ants live where.

The goal of this program is to support environmental and taxonomic learning using National Academy of Sciences education standards. Mentors, public or home-school teachers, and parents interested in sponsoring research or education development please enquire. Contact dbooher@ucla.edu
